Meet Valerie Zimmerman

Valerie Zimmerman has been an Administrative Assistant at Gift CPAs’ Akron office since 2023. She thrives in her client-facing role, enjoying the opportunity to get to know each client personally and assist them to the best of her ability. Her organizational skills and commitment to neatness set her apart, especially in a fast-paced environment where knowing the location of everything is crucial.

Outside of work, Valerie is an artist and graphic designer who loves camping, hiking, and all things outdoors. She enjoys gathering with friends and family and playing classic board games. Valerie also participates in various church-organized activities. To unwind, she enjoys playing with her son, taking family walks, listening to music, watching comedies, and engaging in coloring and activity books.

Valerie’s dedication to her role is evident in her attentive listening and ability to direct clients to the right person for their needs, ensuring they feel valued and heard. She stays calm during challenges, remembers her training, and isn’t afraid to ask for help. Her favorite quotes, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13) and “Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed” (Isaiah 54:10), reflect her positive and resilient outlook. Valerie’s blend of professionalism and personal touch makes her an invaluable member of the Gift CPAs team.
