Meet Amy Wilt

Amy Wilt joined Gift CPAs in 2024 as a Bookkeeper in our Mechanicsburg office. Her journey into the accounting and bookkeeping industry was driven by her long-standing love of numbers, organizing things, and a strong appreciation for accuracy and precision, making this career a natural fit during a career change.

Amy enjoys the problem-solving aspects of her role, likening it to playing detective and putting together a puzzle. Her experience working in the small business setting has given her a deep understanding of the unique challenges faced by small business owners and entrepreneurs. She finds fulfillment in helping clients manage their finances, allowing them to focus on mastering their specialties and staying current in their specific industries.

Clients appreciate Amy’s efficiency, personable nature, and her attentive listening to their needs. When faced with challenges, Amy works methodically to eliminate variables and dig into the problem until it’s resolved.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys board games, camping, and always has a puzzle in progress at home. She loves spending time with family and friends and is actively involved in church activities. Amy’s advice to those considering a career in accounting or bookkeeping is to give it a try if they enjoy organizing and problem-solving, without being intimidated by the numbers.
